This past Saturday, September 9th, the annual St. Mark's Place Block Party took place. Ray Jr took advantage of the gathering, invited one of the attorneys handling his father's case and together they gave neighbors a quick update on what's going on with this ongoing fight.

This fight is still going on in the courts. Mr. Cortez is still in jeopardy of being evicted from the property he and his family made their home since 1968.
