The death of a toddler is always heartbreakingly sad, but the fact that she died by penetrative assault makes it even more shocking. There were no natural causes for her death and even the doctor who examined her was worried about the sheer amount of bleeding. What makes me sick to my stomach is the fact the father was alone with her before she died and refused to answer over 200 questions at the inquest, specifically why was Poppi's DNA was on his genitals.

Thanks to the ineptitude of the services her father will not face prosecution. Please help me as I can't stand the thought that he is now under witness protection because he is afraid of death threats. What about Poppi? The pain and horror she went through is unimaginable and I for one do not want another child to go through that. Something has to be done and I'm hoping with enough signatures the Justice Department will find a way to lock this monster up.
