For months, I fought an exhausting battle against Instagram and Meta after my three political accounts were unjustly disabled. As a political activist and an investigative journalist opposing the Islamic regime of Iran, my work is critical in shedding light on human rights abuses, amplifying suppressed voices, and advocating for democracy. Losing my accounts wasn’t just about losing followers—it was about losing years of hard work, connections, evidence, and a platform that allowed me to fight for justice.  

Instagram never provided a valid reason for the takedown. Repeated appeals led nowhere. My emails went unanswered, and my attempts to recover my accounts were met with generic, automated responses. It became clear that this wasn’t just a technical issue—it was a wrongful act of censorship, silencing my voice when it was needed the most.  

But I refused to back down. I launched a petition, rallied my supporters, reached out to politicians, and applied relentless pressure on Meta to acknowledge their mistake. The fight wasn’t easy. It took months of persistence, frustration, and determination.  

Finally, the victory came. Meta admitted their error, apologized for the wrongful removal of my accounts, and reinstated all three. This wasn’t just a win for me—it was a win for every voice fighting against oppression and censorship.  

I am beyond grateful to everyone who stood by me, signed the petition, and searched for my accounts. This fight proved one thing: we are stronger together, and no unjust system can silence the truth forever.  

Now, I am back. Louder. Stronger. More determined than ever. The fight for justice continues.
