Petition updateHold PLA Accountable and Educate them that we do care about the logging of Port Ludlow
Petition Revived.

Daniel NeedlesPort Ludlow, WA, United States

A year later we are still at square one. The county still hasn't decided whether to enforce its zoning laws (MPRs) and take PLA to court. At some point the county needs to decide whether Port Ludlow is a resort or a tree farm. The PLA says logging is acceptable and hasn't made any improvements since its purchase over 15 years ago. Instead it has let the yacht club (restaurant) fail, rented out the community center to a local church, and has let pretty much all the capital improvements from the port to the wells to the golf course degrade. So in spirit the PLA is treated Port Ludlow as a tree farm and the county is looking the other way. We are still asking for the county to do something, anything to let the PLA know that Port Ludlow is a resort community, not a tree farm.
