Blanco, a tabby cat, had to have her leg amputated due to neglect. The cat's owner, Gwendolyn Maddy, has been charged with Animal Cruelty after several complaints from veterinarians, which sparked a police investigation. Blanco was removed from the house with a broken leg, exposed bone and dislocated hip.  Ms. Maddy refused treatment for Blanco. Previously Ms. Maddy owned a puppy that was disfigured and another cat who had a broken leg. Again, Ms. Maddy refused treatment, and not for financial reasons.  Her recklness has cause Blaco severe pain ond her leg to be amputated.

While awaiting trial for her animal cruelty charge, Judge Richard Conlin has ordered the cat to be returned to her abuser, Ms. Maddy. This is against the wishes of the Human Society and Prosecuters, and is jeopardizing the safety and life of Blanco. This petition orders Judge Conlin to reconsider his decision and have Blanco removed from the home. This petition also orders Ms. Maddy to voluntarily surrender Blanco to the Human Society.
