We did it!! First we washed real well, dried, straighter to make easier to handle, then visited Mike our stylist; who kudos to him made a special salon day for us.  Thank you to our thousands of supporters, your compassion, your rooting, your everything has been amazing to say the least. I have had several parents message me about this happening to their sons, but their reasons were more for personal preference. Which we believe regardless of reason a boy should have equal standards to girls. There are some things in the works as we speak. We have support from a few huge, big, people and when things happen I will update.  This isn’t over, but grew for a cause dear to us and the time came. Habib would love to regrow and donate again in his senior year, maybe by then we have a better school board/administration system that believes in change,  equality, and no preferential treatments.

The Longhairs were there every step of the way..even gave free men hair ties to those interested. We have more photos, but it only allows us to post one here.
