Just got off the phone with Shaun and he told me to thank everybody that has signed and shared his petition. His heart goes out to all of the kids out there who don't have anyone to guide them or teach them about not coming to prison... About not making some of the same mistakes that he made when he was a kid. He said that upon his release his plan is to start mentorships in the county where he was arrested and also the neighboring counties. "These people aren't playing with minorities!" he says. And because of our lack of communication between parents and children keeps repeating it's revolving cycle. Although he maintains his innocence he says that he's made a lot of horrible decisions as a teenager that he would like to make amends for.
