Help Protect our Waters and Way of Life from an Oil Train Disaster

Rail shipments of toxic and flammable Bakken crude oil threaten the Wild & Scenic Middle Fork Flathead River, Whitefish Lake, downstream waters including Flathead Lake, and groundwater aquifers.

A spill along the Middle Fork could be disastrous for clean water, health and welfare, our local economy, and our Flathead fish and wildlife legacy. This special place deserves a plan for improving oil transport safety to protect our water and way of life.
