Proboscis Monkeys are hunted for food and also hunted recreationally (medicine) and as a bait or feed for lizards , snakes and crocodiles. Deforestation for palm oil has forced these monkeys to lose there habitat . Hunting and habitat loss has caused  significantly reduced number of the proboscis monkeys. There is only 7,000 monkeys left in the island of Borneo , Indonesia . With this information we can put a stop to hunting and deforestation in Indonesia.
