Very interesting twist to this movement with city leaders out in Wisconsin passing an actual law that doesn't allow to simply pack up mowers til June.

Coined as Low Mow May, criteria are as follows:

• Only be required to mow once during May, rather than every 7-10 days
• Be allowed to raise the mower height to four inches, rather than the 2-3 inches more commonly used

Which leaves door open for Landscapers to continue doing business in some capacity without leaving a compete bad taste for those who are scaling back during May to help bees.

Yet still makes this petition relevant for not just Wisconsin but the rest of the United States to buy-in with a program funding landscapers to participate in either Low Mow May -or- No Mow May -- to help cut back on the times visited or not at all, but still continue earning.
