Good Morning America covered our #TruthInAds companion petition (www.change.org/REALrealbeauty) which asks Dove to commit to labeling any ads where they photoshop the people in them, and not to run this type of ad where our kids can see them (https://gma.yahoo.com/dad-asks-dove-more-real-ad-campaign-210913603--abc-news-fashion-and-beauty.html.) We started with Dove because we thought they'd find it easy, after a decade of marketing "Real Beauty," to say yes and get the ball rolling with other advertisers...because while we keep working with Congress, the ad-industry can help affect the change we all want NOW. We're not sure why, but Dove seems not to be having as easy a time saying yes as we'd hoped, BUT ModCloth, a fashion e-tailer, stepped up and in, signing the Heroes Pledge just days after we launched this petition. They are Heroes indeed! Let's give big thanks to ModCloth and keep encouraging Dove and all advertisers to make Real Beauty even more so. change.org/Realrealbeauty. Thanks to all of you!
