In December 2016, thousands of people were given one choice: leave Aleppo, or die.
We were forced to flee, to leave our lives behind and forget the streets where we learnt how to speak out, how to chant for freedom.
Yet, we refuse to forget.
On the occasion of the 6th anniversary since our forced displacement from Aleppo, we wish to honour the memory of that time through our We Dared To Dream exhibition. We carry our home within us, and we want to share tokens of it with you - objects we saved and were able to take with us, and the stories of Syrians who dared to dream and strive for freedom.
Our exhibition is free and open to all from Tuesday 13 - Thursday15 December (2-8pm) at P21 Gallery (Kings Cross).
And if you would like to support in spreading the word on social media - we would be very grateful. Here is an Instagram, Facebook and Twitter post to share.
Please join us and help us raise Syrian voices.
