Dear friends,
Thank you to the thousands of you who have already asked Pope Francis to #TellPutin to stop bombing Idlib.
There are just a few hours to go until the meeting will go ahead, which means we still have time to try and convince the Pope to raise the plight of Syrians.

Thank you,

Dear friends,
It has been a while since I have been in touch. I want you to know that my family and I are well, and I hope that you and yours are too.
Sadly, I cannot say the same for my friends in Idlib. Over the past few weeks, the regime has stepped up their attacks on the city – a place that is home to three million people, including one million children. Many of those haven’t always called Idlib home, having fled there from other parts of Syria that became too dangerous for them to stay—including my neighbours from Aleppo.
Syrians calls for respite have fallen on deaf ears. As usual, Putin and Assad do not listen to us. However, on Thursday, Putin will meet with someone whose opinion he might just listen to – Pope Francis. I know Pope Francis cares about the plight of my people. If enough of us reach out to him asking him to raise Idlib in their meeting, there’s a real chance he will listen.

And if you want to support the people of Idlib even more, please retweet any tweets you see from other Syrian activists using the hashtag #TellPutin.
Thank you for all you do,
Dr. Hamza
