Thank you for hearing my voice for all women survivors to get a better pathway of support.... it is good to see we are in 449 signatures ... keep telling friends, circulate to groups and to your local MPs we must get our voices heard...... If you follow my blog http://womensvoicestobeheard.blogspot.co.uk/ you will see my updates there too and how I am struggling with very bad chest infection... My vit D is very low and that too influences the immune system.... I am feeling physically weak but will keep my SPIRIT STRONG remember I am my mothers daughter and my mother would have risen to this battle to get women a better deal had she been alive now.......
It is not the society I want this land to be that batters women survivors with FAILED SUPPORT... and inadequate funds for financial dignity.
In my blog post you will see that a darn neighbour a well know man for complaining in the neighbourhood had reported me to the council saying I was not keeping my garden tidy and that there are rats and mice.... dear god why do men want to have a go at me....!!! and where is the biological logic in the man that we have a woodland nearby with fauna all types from foxes to rodents and I have cats that are hunters.... and this weather has simply not been conducive to gardening I have chest infection and arthritic knees..... I love gardening have a look at my blog how nice I made it look when I did have that NHS pension lump sum of £5000 but now get less then £65 a MONTH and my benefits titrated to the "by law the poor must survive on £73.10 a week" pay council tax and housing benefit cap, food and fuel bills ?! The council officer was kind with me yesterday and held me when I cried as he could see I need more help not folk battering me down.... He saw this petition and the x rays and was upset to see this.......I think to be honest I need to move out of this borough - this will help as all my domestic violence and all the council hassle has been in this borough ... maybe it will be a step in the right direction to get out of the area all together...... to be somewhere where I feel loved and cared for and respected not more battering and harassment!
When I opened my email there was another survivor that was writing to tell me how she had had money stopped .... and bless her she is trying to get a uni placement to study law thinking this is the only way she can change things is to become a lawyer....... WE WOMEN ARE TRYING AGAINST ALL ODDS with this DARN government that is NOT LISTENING AND NOT URGENTLY REFORMING THE DWP for women survivors ... our lives put a risk not helped to heal.......
Please keep signing and lets get our voices to be loud shouts for the PM to hear and see how she needs to help women better than this.... and to review the WASPI situation as this at least would help me to get some dignity with my state pension.... and other over 60 women that have no other means to support themselves......
We need some reparation as our criminal perpetrators have deliberately financially crippled us... fleeced us and left us penniless.....
we should not be struggling in poverty when we are suffering post traumatic stress depression... trying to heal and rebuild our lives....
Thank you Marjorie
