This week as been a busy week for me with highs and lows.... struggling with further intimidation from the Jobcentre and been sanctioned for failing to provide evidence of job searching ... yet I continue to do so and been busy with online courses to improve my chances.... I have completed a 6 months TEFL, so can look for teaching posts now, been studying with FutureLearn and Coursera.org.... I have been following modules for the voluntary work I am doing for an NGO and I continue to befriend my refugee family and apply for grants..... I have my independent consultancy for NYR put cannot do the party plans as need finances for stock but do blog and promote my personalised link on the internet... you can see all I do with my blogs... In this been reviewing and refreshing my languages French, German, Dutch and Arabic... with some Turkish to ... I have some Hindi from my time in India and nursing and caring for the Asian community here in the UK...

I attend meetings to network and try my best alone as over 60yrs and left with nothing....I try I try I try...
Thursday I joined the WASPI women in the protest outside parliament which will be weekly protest till our State Pension situation is sorted. This last week I spotted Boris Johnson's brother Joe Johnson and called him over to listen to the concerns and the need for reforms. He did give me time and was please my MP was helping and that yes the situation needs to be looked at more closer... My eldest daughter is in Boris constituency and he suggested she make an appointment too... and this is good as she is stressed as indeed my youngest daughter is too with the whole situation..... So we are to do this and my youngest daughter will contact her MP for Tadcastere Neil Adams....
Could all my signatories for this petition please also email and send this petition to them too .... we really do need to reform the DWP..... my GP has signed me off sick with depression... please do not underestimate the pain I am in ... and the utter vulnerability of entering my elderly years not the woman of substance I could have been and should have been..... To keep me strong I turn pain into campaign....
This afternoon completed week 1 of Beyond the Ballot - Women's rights with FutureLearn.... I have been inspired and impressed with Caroline Norton who was a domestic violence victim but managed to get reform for the Divorce Laws, Child custody and property rights.... The last point I must study further as I was robbed of my share of the property with perpetrator number 2 Vincent. A sore point as now he is in a property worth £350,000 and rising... and here I am destitute.....
My legal aid for Amine the Moroccan perpetrator is not yielding a divorce as yet as bailiffs are trying to find him.... he also broke Sharia law in that a wife must be provided for and NOT left penniless.... What mess..... but look what is happening - I am talking about them constantly tethered to the past.... whereas if I had financial dignity and support I can move on...
I hear this time and time again in survivors - so we do need to reform the DWP policies for women survivors....
Contact me if you have any ideas on paid work for me that I could comfortably do as my poor diet and older years does have an impact on my arthritic knees and mobility.... I find this cold weather dreadful on my muscles and joints... clearly the elderly do need to keep warm to move better and not be a fall risk....
Thank you for the new sign ups to the petition and hope you get chance to read my blog writing...
