Our planet has a plastic problem, of that, there is no longer any doubt. Within the crafting and creative community, we, the undersigned, acknowledge the devastating presence of single use plastic in our craft and haberdashery supplies.

We call on the big names in the craft industry, who are profiting from the sale of heavily packaged and primarily plastic based craft supplies, to put pressure on manufacturers to reduce or remove single use packaging from their goods, or to only source and stock those companies who have already found and use more sustainable alternatives. 

We want to buy our craft and haberdashery supplies minus the plastic. We would like a clear timeline on when we can expect to see this happening. We believe that there is clear, corporate responsibility and we want to see big business start to put the planet ahead of profit.
