NZ is ranked among the worst in the OECD on our outcomes for children. We support the initiative the government is showing to address this issue through the Green Paper. Our concern is that any positive changes that result from this process will be undone by future governments. To avoid this and ensure that New Zealand’s children can thrive, belong, and achieve, ask the Prime Minister to show political leadership and work with all other political party leaders to create a cross-party accord on children.
