We are calling on all Parents, Teachers, Decision Makers and Legislators to sign a petition and PROTECT OUR CHILDREN.

The goal of this petition to get our community to act now by putting Metal Detectors and Police Guards in every Central Bucks school.  As a parent of a middle school-aged child about to enter High School, I'm am scared to death every single day. We are approaching 20 years of children and educators being killed, frightened, running for their lives and living in a war zone which should be a nurturing, learning environment.  Teaching drills which will train our children and educators how to run or hide is not enough. Often they are sitting ducks. While certainly there is value in teaching them these drills and it saves lives, it does not prevent criminals from entering the schools with guns and killing our children and faculty.  We, the parents and citizens of Central Bucks School District are calling on our community leaders to take action now. We have the right to ask for protection for our children.  The time has come to put Metal Detectors and Guards in every school. This cannot wait. Action needs to take place now.  The cost is not worth one more life and we as parents and tax paying citizens have every right to ask for their protection. 

Do not let this happen in our community......

There have been 18 school shootings so far this year, including one that claimed 17 lives at a Florida public school Wednesday, Feb 14th, 2018.
