John Cranley, Joseph Deters, The City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County must stop their attacks on encampments of people experiencing homelessness on public and private property.

Cranley and Deters are using obscure camping laws to violate the private property rights of the very organizations working to end homelessness. They are pressuring Over the Rhine Community Housing and and the people camping on their Private Property to force people back into the streets.

The camp at 13th and Republic is a relatively safe place for some of the most marginalized people in our community to sleep, connect with services and receive charity from the community. This comes at a time when Cincinnati has a critical shortage of affordable housing. The camp is on private property and we reject and condemn the Mayor and Prosecutor's attempt to further marginalize people and infringe on private property rights.
