Above is a USGS Streamer image of the watershed above Williams Dam, an area of nearly 5000 square miles. The dam blocks upstream passage of lake sturgeon, sauger, various darters, mussel larvae, etc; some of which are threatened or endangered species. Williams Dam is THE major obstacle to recovery for the entire East Fork White River aquatic species ecosystem. In addition, the dam degrades the river and its habitat for many miles downstream. Since circa 1912! It's high time we fixed this problem!
