Community Control Over Police Surveillance (CCOP) Program
The ACLU started the CCOPS program in 2016, to help us with police misconduct, surveillance and over-reach. There are two maps – one from 2020 that is the headline photo and this is their current map of the CCOPS organization (scroll past their advertisement) to the current map and to a list of the surveillance technology listed on their website: https://www.aclu.org/issues/privacy-technology/surveillance-technologies/community-control-over-police-surveillance They cannot do this alone and have been reaching out to each cities’ citizens to help with the project. AND what better way to get into the ‘inside circle’ to let them know about our PETITION and the dire need for help against this horrific crime we have been enduring.
