Hi to all and also to newly signed, for helping making this petition "almost" making 2,000 signatures in just under 1 year since initially started. It truly means alot to get any support, as Dystonia is affected by more than 70,000 people in the UK alone and many more worldwide. It is a painful neurological movement disorder, characterized by uncontrollable, involuntary muscle spasms, and contractions, repetitive movements, twisting, abnormal postures,tremors just to name a few of the every day symptoms each person can and do suffer with on a daily basis. This is an extremely important petition to raise awareness and to make 'all' medical professionals know exactly what Dystonia is.....in order to get a diagnosis and treatment to all that suffer from this debilitating neurological condition that has NO CURE.... 70,000 people in the UK suffer from "dystonia" alone.... And many, many more worldwide!!! Yet, this involuntary movement disorder is still not recognised by all the medical PROFESSIONALS, often we have to explain it to them....
