Rickets is still around!

Rickets was supposed to be eradicated in the early 1900s when they fortified milk with vitamin D. But... it is still around.. and it is increasing in numbers. Why? Because our pediatricians encourage mothers to breastfeed, but are not encouraging the mothers to have adequate vitamin D. Many mothers are not supplementing their infants. This can cause infantile rickets - and lead to children being taken away from their parents by CPS. Read the article below.
