Fantastic news: the Hitchin shop has removed the glue traps from sale and has promised they will not re-stock them. Thank you, Home Essentials Hitchin for doing the right thing.

Thank you also to councillor Sam Collins of North Hertfordshire District Council who has taken up the baton, has spoken to the shop manager and is looking into the possibility of a local ban on any sale of glue traps. 

The petition will stay live until I've received an assurance from the company directors that they've removed the traps from sale in all of their outlets so please do sign it if you haven't already.

I will of course be monitoring to make sure that the shop stick to their promise (no pun intended).
