The latest information from our BC government is the 'promise' to remove ALL premiums in 4 years. That amounts to OVER $8 Billion of unfair regressive "taxes" into general coffers. For a relatively small cancellation fee of $4 Million, MSP premiums can end. I have heard from many of the petition signers how devastating this premiums is to them and their families. Not only does this affect their pocket books, it affects their quality of life. From living in fear of being taken to creditors, having their tax returns taken away, pensioners are having the fees deducted directly from their pensions before they even receive it! We cannot wait another 4 years to have this changed! Please call your local MLA and the Ministers and tell them you cannot wait. Please adjust February's budget to include the $4M to pay this cancellation fee! You can reach them here!
