61,394 + British Columbians demand change and transparency! The numbers continue to grow, another 11,000 signatures in the last 7 days! Thank you British Columbia for getting this very important message out there. Christy your statement "one of the reasons British Columbia has an MSP system is to remind people that health care isn’t a free service” is not only offensive but apparently the less you make the more of a reminder you need! Here is a table (http://bit.ly/because-its-2016) showing how damaging these numbers really are to British Columbian families! A family making $30,001 has 6% of their income taken as a MSP Premium A family making $3,000,000 has only 0.06% income taken. These so-called Premiums continue to rise, 4% this year alone, up 40% in the last 7 years and it has little to do with health care.
