If we have the same coach next year, I’m not going to renew my season tickets after 28 yrs. I’m petitioning that athletic director, Jim Knowlton make a coaching change.

The last two years of Cal basketball have not been up to our standard and we need a change. We cannot accept this as the new normal. We’ve come a long way from winning the Pac 12 in 2009/2010 season. I’ve been a season ticket holder for 28 years and have never seen the Bears doing so poorly. As fans, we put in enormous effort to support the team. We take bart, battle traffic, come home late on weekdays and spend money and time on our love of Cal Men’s basketball. We need action. It’s time to petition for a change!

2018/2019 Season: Overall: 5-8, Pac 12: 0-11

Home: 5-7
Away: 0-8

- School record: 12 loses in a row - worse than our 1962 team
- We’ve lost 26/27 Pac12 games
- 19 Pac12 loses in a row
- 9/11 Pac12 opponents have shot 50%+ against us
- We allow 114.7 points per 100 possessions ranking 341/353 in the nation
- No other Cal basketball coach has ever won less than 41 percent of his games (Dick Kuchen went 80-112 from 1978 through ’85). Jones has only won 25% of the games he’s coached
- Last place in the Pac12
- Ranked 265/353 DI college teams
- Attendance: Since Haas Pavilion opened in 1999, Cal had not averaged fewer than 7,700 fans and six times averaged more than 10,000. Last season, the average dropped to 7,376. This season, it’s at 4,893.
- Recruiting: We haven’t had a recruiting class in the top half of the Pac12 since 2015 with Jalyn Brown and Ivan Rabb
