Alpharetta Officially gets a Skate Park!

Although it's not Wills Park, Alpharetta is officially getting a skate park!

Thanks all for signing and contributing, as this petition really did give awareness and made an impact! Special thanks and shoutout to Hayden Bray (RIP) who took much initiative heading this up in speaking with media, press, and city leaders.

*New Alpharetta Skate Park Coming 2027!*

From article above:

"Skaters, this one’s for you!  Construction is underway on a permanent skate park at Union Hill Park, giving local riders a better place to practice their skills and hit the ramps.
Funded by the 2021 Parks Bond, the skate park is part of a $3.52 million park renovation and is expected to open in May 2027. The existing skate park will be repurposed, and the area will remain closed during construction.
The project began with community feedback in 2020, when local skaters asked the City for a dedicated place to ride. Now, that request is taking shape.
Know a skater? Share the news!"
