This shelter has put down multiple dogs with rescue commitment, and is not rescue-friendly.

We ask that Lincoln Co ensure that the shelter staff:

-Hold animals through the legal stray hold; allow volunteers access to the animals; cooperate with rescues, including not charging full adoption fees as pull fees;  be open to the public for a reasonable time; provide adequate food;: employ a director with the animals' best interest at heart; and otherwise operate in accordance with Ky state law.
