Due to the extreme fires, the smoke around Sacramento has been unhealthy for people that suffer from health issues such as asthma or lung disease. After many meetings with the district air quality specialist, the Sacramento School district still continued to open their schools. Many school district/ campuses that has been affected by the fire and the poor air quality has chosen to close down their campus such as the Los Rios district, UC Davis and many more. It’s outrageous for the district to still open their campuses. As a parent and a student, please join us in this petition to shut down the schools until it is healthier to breathe!
