I saw this quote yesterday “You have gone too far, not to go further. You have done too much, not to do more.” It will be our mantra for 2024. With your support, we will remain resolute to improve earlier cancer diagnoses and push for the implementation of Jess’s Law. 

Thank you so much to the many of you who emailed your MP urging them to contact the Secretary of State for Health, Victoria Atkins regarding this petition and the calls for Jess’s Law. You are making a difference. Let’s keep up the momentum. If you have not had the opportunity to contact your MP, it is not too late, the details of how to do so and a template letter is in my last update. 

We are due to meet with the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Department of Health and Social Care on the 17th of January. We hope to have some news about the proposed cancer awareness training for GPs. Jess’ charity, Jessica Brady CEDAR Trust, will be supporting the funding of this. I will, of course, keep you updated.
