Please do URGE your MP to attend and support the debate, linked to this petition, on Friday 19th November.

Adjournment debates take place after the main business in the Chamber has concluded each day, often in the evening. The Commons does not usually sit on Fridays but will be doing so on the 19th. However, to allow MPs to return to their constituencies, it is likely that the House will adjourn midway through the afternoon. While there is no guarantee what time the debate will start, this is likely to be at about 15:00. We hope in their desire to return home early for the weekend, MP's will not skip the debate but recognise the importance of attending and backing the essential calls for change.

This is a real opportunity to make a difference in Jess' name and in memory of all the other precious individuals who have lost their lives too early to this cruel disease. The time has come to stand up, call for action and demand change. No one should have to experience the desperation, despair and fear Jess did. No family, friends or colleagues should have to lose someone they love without the opportunity for treatment and some hope of survival.

This picture was the last one I took of beautiful Jess, just a few days before she was admitted to the hospital. She retained her courage, determination, and dignity always. We are so very proud of her.
