Your collective voice is bringing about change. Thank you.

On Tuesday 14th September, we were given the opportunity to represent Jess, and young adults like her, in the Houses of Parliament. We were met with sensitivity and kindness but inevitably it was an emotional day. The resulting media attention has been challenging. It has been difficult seeing our precious daughter featured in the press because of her late cancer diagnosis and premature death. Jess was so much more than her illness and her struggle to be heard. However, we realise this publicity will, and already is, effecting change. We are incredibly grateful to Tom and Shaun at Cancer Research for standing by us and supporting us.

We were given an opportunity to speak for nearly half an hour. Of course, with so many points to address, it was not possible to mention of every one of our concerns but we were given an opportunity to share a document afterwards, which lists 10 points and positive calls for action. We also shared this petition.

Below is the link to the meeting.

Once again, thank you, to each and every one of you, for your continued support and for making this happen.
