As I wait for replies to my letters and emails to both Matt Hancock and Boris Johnson I realise many people will not be surprised by the lack of response. However, busy people do respond and show tremendous kindness and support. Only a tiny percentage of people signing this petition actually met Jess. Most of you reading this have been moved by her story and recognise how imperative it is that change happens. Some wonderful people, in the public eye, have also shown incredible support. Simon Pegg, Sue Perkins, Charlie Cooper, Paul Cooper, Paul Chahidi (This Country), Mark O'Sullivan, Miles Chapman and Anna Morris (Lee and Dean) and Shaun Keaveny (Radio 6 broadcaster) are just some.They are many incredible people out there who stop, give their time and do good.
