We submit that dismissals of the felony charges against Jeremy Kettler and Shane Cox be filed immediately. Cox and Kettler have been wrongfully convicted of federal firearms violations, despite being in complete compliance with Kansas law, the Second Amendment Protection Act, which states, in part, that federal agencies may not regulate firearms made, sold, and kept within the borders of Kansas, citing state sovereignty under the 9th and 10th Amendments to the United States Constitution. We support the Second Amendment Protection Act and hold our elected officials responsible to complete their sworn duties.
