It's been less than 3 days since we launched our Justgiving page to help support Ruby and her young family through the difficult months while she is still recovering. So far, people have donated an amazing £2106 - with donations ranging from £2 to £50. Every little bit really does make a difference - thank you so much! Everyday we hear about more people and families waiting to for that lifesaving call - which is why this petition exists; to call upon government to ensure we are looking at every opportunity to save these lives. The lack of opportunities to donate cord blood seems like such a wasted opportunity!
