Jared O'Mara is the Labour MP for Sheffield Hallam. Mr O'Mara has made several disturbing comments regarding homosexuals and women - comments which should have no place in the Labour Party let alone the Parliamentary Labour Party. This petition requests that the Labour Whip be taken away from O'Mara - ejecting him from the party - until a full and proper investigation has taken place. Once this has been done, if O'Mara is indeed found guilty, the whip should be removed permanently. This is not about party or policy; it's about decency and ensuring that the Labour Party - whether the Parliamentary wing or the party as a whole - is free from such types of abusive and repugnant language.
