Jane Ballentyne Co-Authored a controversial article published in The England Journal of Medicine: That the goal of treating chronic pain should NOT be lessening of the pain; Instead it should be "teaching patients to accept their pain". Dr. Forest Tennant, Editor of Practical Pain Management & Leading Figure in the field of Chronic Pain and Author of 300 articles and books, heavily criticized this calling for Ballentyne to lose her license. "To suggest that physicians no longer treat pain intensity and let patients suffer goes beyond any sort of decency or concern for humanity." Forest Tennant M.D., PhD. is being considered for a Nobel Prize. He is 77 years old, and was recently raided by the DEA in November 2017. He was forced to retire from the practice of medicine March 26th, 2018 with mounting legal fees and DEA pressure. He saw 80 patients per month, and none had died.
