PRIDE is not supported by the majority of United Conservative Party (UCP) members, and they do not wish to have the UCP associate with PRIDE in any way, for the following reasons:

1. PRIDE is about lewd debauchery
2. PRIDE supports child abuse, and the grooming and corruption of children.
3. PRIDE is racist and bigoted.
4. PRIDE is anti-democratic and tyrannical.
5. PRIDE will never welcome the UCP anyway.
6. PRIDE is not supported by the majority of Albertans, or the UCP.

By hosting it's own PRIDE event separate from the recognized PRIDE events, the UCP appear obstinate, weak, and immature. The UCP members are tired of the pandering by leadership for a group that is abusive and intolerant of anyone else's point of view, and who's values are diametrically opposed to the values of a majority of it's members.

Even if the UCP had the full support and 'inclusion' of PRIDE voters, it would would have no significant effect on the election, and therefor hosting a separate UCP PRIDE event is a waste of both time and resources.
