The plenary of the Portuguese parliament asked the post-democratic regime in Madrid to politically resolve its conflict with the Catalan people, to respect the will of the Catalan people and to safeguard the social rights and other democratic rights currently suspended by the Catalans. On the same day, the regional parliament of Corsica also ruled in favor of the right of the Catalan nation to self-determination for its free decision.
