Catalonia not only has one of the oldest parliaments in Europe, it has always been a cosmopolitan nation, solidary with other countries. Now it needs solidarity and help itself, as the post-democratic Spanish state commits massive violations of human rights and tries by force of the Catalan's right to peaceful and free self-determination.
