Petition updateStand with the Puyallup Tribe - No LNG Fracked Gas in the Salish Sea!PSE's LNG Permit Delayed! Financial Shenanigans Exposed!

Thank you for all your signatures, comments, and support to stop PSE's fracked gas refinery! The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA) has postponed their decision on PSE's Operating Permit (NOC) as they review the multitude of public comments on the Draft SEIS. Apparently we flooded them with letters. Way to go everyone!

PSCAA's new date for completing review is March 29th. We are determined PSE's 8-million gallon tank, constructed in violation of Medicine Creek Treaty law and State environmental law, will NEVER hold fracked gas.

While we await PSCAA's decision, we are still in action exposing this project's corrupt financial underpinnings. Public money should not be spent on foreign-owned PSE's "for-profit" project unless it will benefit the public good. Yet the Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC)  authorized PSE to pass on 43% of the construction costs to residential  customers even though they are scheduled to use less than 2% of PSE's LNG production. This 43% cost to ratepayers for less than 2% use is simply unfair. The majority of this fracked gas refinery & storage facility will be used to sell the gas for a profit to industrial and maritime customers. The disparity of the monetary burden is not just wrong but fraudulent from a public standpoint.

PSE's proposed fracked gas LNG refinery would lock us into decades of climate destructive fossil fuel use, create health & safety issues for local residents, and is being built in violation of the Medicine Creek Treaty.

Please Sign 350 Seattle's petition and tell WA decision makers - No Public Funds for Private Gains!

Thank You for Standing Strong! YEHOW!
