Save White Rock Ranch Horse Rescue and Retirement Ranch

The Issue

Horses recused by WRHR come from many different places and arrive in varied states of physical and psychological deprivation. Health issues range from starvation to poorly maintained hooves. After a thorough evaluation health records are established, filed and maintained at WRHR's office. In addition to rescued horses, others are either deeded or donated to WRHR by owners who - for one reason or another - are no longer able to keep their animal. Regardless of the circumstances that bring them to the ranch horses are placed into one of two groups. Healthy ones that can be rehabilitated and adopted by new owners and older horses that are given safe haven at a special WRR location call the Villa - allowing them to live the remaining days in peaceful retirement.

We started this petition, to help stop the action started by the county (see below). WRHR is not responsible for the creation of this petition.

From WRHR website:

Unfortunately, the County of San Bernardino, CA has file an "Notice of Intent To File Lawsuit" against White Rock Horse Rescue and Isabella Megli for the County's interpretation of the Mission Statement of White Rock. The County has interpreted that WRR is working outside the limits of a 501c3 and the County feels WRR and I am an Equine Facility and Riding Academy not a Rescue. Until this issue is resolved, all Web Site and Facebook information has been removed since it is being used against WRR. WRR will be verifying they are a "501c3" and fully operating as such.

We need as many signatures as possible to stop this action from the county.
