Let's change CPS graduation requirements!

The Issue

Help me by joining the journey of changing CPS graduation requirements, focusing specifically on Civics/AP Government and Computer Science. These classes are needed to graduate from any CPS school, along with 4 English credits, 4 years of physical education, 3 math credits (4 recommended), 3 science credits, 3 social science credits (including civics/government), 2 years of world language, 2 years of fine arts and 3 electives. Although 3 electives are needed to graduate, there is not much room left for electives after completing all of the CPS requirements, while keeping in mind what kind of classes colleges would like to see on a transcript. So let's start small, and remove the graduation requirements of AP gov/civics and computer science, to help CPS students have more electives! This would not remove these classes as options, only make them not requirements to graduate.
