Better triage is needed in ERs Canada-wide

Because I know that the issue of ER triage is problematic Canada-wide, I've decided to do an English version of the French petition started by Karine Delgado. Here's the English translation of the parents' message.
On Saturday, February 18, 2017, our son Josh Dubois was admitted to ER at Charles le Moyne's hospital in Longueuil. His case was classified P3 in ER's triage. He was presenting respiratory difficulties and other medical issues, but wasn't reassessed according to the requirements of the Canadian Triage Scale. Our son was 23-months old, was hardly talking, except for saying "dodo" (sleepy sleep) which means "bobo" (sore) in his language. After a never-ending day, he finally got transferred to a pediatric hospital in the evening, but after 50 minutes of cardiac massage, he died at 22:40. We want to inform the public at large with this petition and make things change in order that such an event never happens again. We ask the government to ensure that the triage reassessment process is followed rigorously according to the established standards. Hep us in our fight and support us as we go through the painful loss of our little boy who was so full of life and joy. Share and sign this petition in memory of Josh to ensure that the Canadian triage scale is respected and the reassessment process is properly followed.
Thank you for your support,
Karine Delgado and Florent Dubois, parents of Josh Dubois
