There are more than 60 million Kannada speaking people across the world. Janashree News has announced that it is going to telecast "Malgudi Days" with Kannada subtitles. We would urge Janashree News channel to telecast the Kannada version ( dubbed version ) of Malgudi days which very much portrays the culture of Karnataka. If the telecast is only with sub-titles and not dubbed into Kannada, large number of Kannadigas who are not comfortable reading sub-titles will be denied the programme. Shankar Nag ( Legendary Kannada Actor/Director ),  the director of this serial and the star cast comprises mostly of Kannada artists.
