Hey Everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that we have not gotten any response from Charlotte Mecklenburg Police department but I have had many of her friends from high school reach out and some of them seem to have some details that would defiantly raise a high level of suspicion enough to where they should be reopening this case to look into certain individuals that have answers to who she was around the time of her disappearance. This still doesn’t sit well with me, how you allow a 17 year olds missing person case to go cold! She was a child and cases that involve children should never be allowed to be closed, until the proper police work is done to bring closer to the family and friends of Jamekia! Like I said I don’t know her or her family it just blows my mind that in the same neighborhood my children play in at there grand parents house a 17 year old girl disappeared and the police failed her! They need to be held accountable because they wasted time in the beginning judging her because of the color of her skin and things she was engaging in saying she ran away instead of immediately searching for her and considering her endangered! 11 years, yes I said 11 years and Jamekia is still missing please share share share we have to come together and keep her name out there! Eventually maybe the right person will see what we are trying to do and help us in this fight! Thank you all who have been a part of this with me and her friends please don’t give up like so many already have please keep fighting for her!
