In February 2014 my best friend Sarah died from cervical cancer. She was 36 and had never been for her cervical screening test. Public Health England are now supporting the campaign encouraging women to attend their screening but sadly the services in place to deal with the demand are not available. Women are not able to book appointments, waiting months to even attend an appointment and now having to wait months for their results. This is not good enough. No one should have to go through the loss of a friend or family member due to cervical cancer. So please support me in ensuring that women are able to book, attend and gain their results in weeks rather than months.
