230 Gurdwaras, Sikh and non-Sikh organisations last week sent an  open letter to Boris Johnson demanding Priti Patel be sacked

Over 10,000 individuals signed the open letter in 48 hours covering 410 different MPs. 221 Conservative MPs, 151 Labour MPs, 21 SNP MPs, 7 Liberal Democrat MPs and 10 independent or MPs belonging to six other political parties.

Boris Johnson was sent the letter on 9 February 2022 that was copied to the leaders of other political parties and all 650 MPs.

Although the two Sikh MPs have tweeted about Priti Patel's offensive comments other MPs have yet to respond publicly or directly to the Gurdwaras or organisations that added their signature.   

MPs will later this week be sent details of constituents and asked to respond to them directly as to what they are doing in response to the issues raised in the open letter.  If you wish to receive a response please add your signature using the link below:
