Home Secretary accused of ‘ill-judged meddling’ by getting involved in police operational decisions in Colston Four case

The tripartite system is there for a reason so politicians do not get involved in the operational decisions taken by the police.

Priti Patel has overstepped the boundaries of that arrangement that we have had for nearly 200 years. She must not be allowed to continue as Home Secretary.
